Superelastic Compression: Leveraging the material properties of Superelastic Nitinol, the NeoSpan® arrive preloaded on an inserter in their natural state. Upon deployment from the inserter from their active state, the implants return to their preformed bowed body which enables dynamic compression in the construct.
Pre-Sterilized and OR-Ready: All instrumentation and implants in the NeoSpan® system are delivered pre-sterilized and ready for the operating room. This eliminates the need for on-site sterile processing, reducing logistical challenges and costs for healthcare providers.
Enhanced Design: The updated circumferential barbed leg geometry and the addition of threaded screw holes in select configurations enhance the stability and fixation of the implants. This design improvement ensures that the implants remain securely in place.
